Your Pink Promise, and the story behind it.

Where it began

Long before pinkस्त्री had a name, it had a community. It started as Gulabae — a small Jaipur-born label built on one simple idea: made-to-order Indian cottonwear that fits every body, from XS to 6XL, stitched with the same care we'd want for our own family. Under the handle @gulabaeofficial, that community grew into thousands of women who trusted us with their weddings, their festivals, and their everyday comfort.

The bump in the road

Here's the part we don't usually put on a website, but we think you deserve the honest version: over the past year, @gulabaeofficial was suspended by Instagram more than once — through no fault of our own, and without much explanation. Each time, we appealed, we waited, and we got back up. But each time, it meant losing touch with customers mid-conversation, mid-order, mid-relationship.

We're actively working to recover @gulabaeofficial once again, and we haven't given up on it. But we didn't want that fight to hold our customers hostage in the meantime — so we built a home we control, no matter how that recovery goes.

Why pinkस्त्री exists

Rather than let one app's decision decide our future, we chose to build a new, stable home — pinkस्त्री, a sister brand to Gulabae. Same made-to-order cottonwear. Same Jaipur workshop. Same promise of pure cotton, cut and stitched for real bodies. Just a new name, and a new Instagram home you can actually count on: @pinkstree.in.

Think of pinkस्त्री not as a replacement, but as Gulabae's story continuing alongside it — so that whether or not @gulabaeofficial comes back, you'll always know where to find us.

Who's behind the label

pinkस्त्री is brought to you by a brother-sister duo, Priyanka and Rahul — with Sanjay holding it all together behind the scenes. The creativity behind the brand is Priyanka's, the brains behind it are Rahul's, and the management of it all is Sanjay's. What started as a shared frustration with mass-produced, one-size-fits-all fashion turned into a business run the way family businesses should be — personally, patiently, and with a WhatsApp always open for a sizing question or a styling doubt.

Every piece is made-to-order, ships in 4–5 business days, and is stitched to fit — not the other way around. We're not going anywhere, and this time, we're making sure you always know where to find us.
